Great Yarmouth
Known as Yarmouth, is a Norfolk seaside town, straddling the mouth of the River Yare, Great Yarmouth is some 20 miles (30 km) east of Norwich. When a rail in 1844 built triggered a settlers influx and gave visitors easier access, as a tourist centre, Yarmouth rose to prominence. Including Caister-on-Sea (8,756) and Great Yarmouth (58,032), the ONS identify an Urban Area of Great Yarmouth, which of 68,317 has a population.
