Great Yarmouth

Known as Yarmouth, is a Norfolk seaside town, straddling the mouth of the River Yare, Great Yarmouth is some 20 miles (30 km) east of Norwich. When a rail in 1844 built triggered a settlers influx and gave visitors easier access, as a tourist centre, Yarmouth rose to prominence. Including Caister-on-Sea (8,756) and Great Yarmouth (58,032), the ONS identify an Urban Area of Great Yarmouth, which of 68,317 has a population.

Much older than Norwich, Yarmouth is an antient town, and, yet better built, much more compleat at present; not much inferior for inhabitants' number; and for wealth, and its situation advantage, superior to Norwich. The terminus of Wherry Lines from Norwich is Great Yarmouth station. Britannia Pier (which is Grade II listed) and Wellington Pier include piers that Yarmouth has. Known as "The Golden Mile", Great Yarmouth's seafront attracts millions of visitors to its sandy beaches, indoor and outdoor attractions and amusement arcades.

The Great Yarmouth and District League serve football clubs. Allowing races of one mile (1.6 km), Yarmouth has, that features a chute, a racecourse for horses. With Great Yarmouth station, Wherry Lines link Norwich. Referred to as "Great Yarmouth" is the remaining Vauxhall station.

She is owned by the Steam Packet Company Limited of Gorleston and Great Yarmouth, built in 1925 for the Earl of Mount Edgcumbe. Began in June 2007, on a North Sea deep-water harbour, the Great Yarmouth Outer Harbour, construction work was completed by 2009. Known as Yarmouth Roads, the anchorage off Yarmouth was seen as one of East Coast's best in the 1800s. In 2012, Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft Enterprise Zone was launched.

In Great Yarmouth, sites include Beacon Park and South Denes. With a population of around 92,500, Great Yarmouth's population increased to 97,277 at the 2011 census. Next to the Great Yarmouth Potteries, sections of the town wall stand opposite the museum, part of which is housed in another smoke house. Beneath Market Gates Shopping Centre, the bus station in Great Yarmouth is the hub for routes.

For Great Yarmouth, a First Responder group of the Ambulance Service of East of England has been set up. Great Yarmouth Sport and leisure Trust run the centre. According to the customs of Oxford, the charter gave his Yarmouth burgesses weekly hustings, a gild merchant, and liberties that were general, amplified by charters asserting the borough rights against Gorleston and Little Yarmouth. In the reign of Edward I by Thomas Fastolfe, a hospital was founded in Yarmouth.
